Three common questions about group travel to Catalina

If you’re responsible for group travel planning, you’ve got your hands full. Anything that can make your job easier is a good thing, so here are answers to three common questions about group travel to Catalina Island.

How soon should we book? While simple day trips can usually be booked up to three days out, booking as soon as you can will assure the best availability.  Most overnight groups book within a month or so of travel. If your group is traveling over weekends, holidays, event weekends, or summer, on the other hand, six to eight months is recommended. You should always contact Catalina Tours – depending on the group size, tours and transportation can often be added on for busy times.

How much will a day trip cost?  Plan on transportation as part of your cost – average group cost for boat, lunch, and an activity ranges from $125 – $225 per person, depending on the activity.

What should I do first?  You’re already here. Whether your group is looking for a relaxing afternoon with plenty of time for bonding or a high-adrenalin adventure sure to forge a more cohesive team, Catalina Island has an activity for that.

Getting some ideas of what your team wants and then perusing this website to find activities to match is a great first start. Need the team to learn how to problem solve together?
