Electric Bike Rental (All-Day Rental):
Our knowledgeable staff will provide you with general information, a safety briefing, and local map, so you can plan out where you want to explore on your e-bike based on the duration of your rental.
Do we receive training? All guests must know how to ride a bike prior to check-in. Bike-riding instruction will not be provided as part of the rental. All guests must be able to hold up the bike on their own.
Frog Rock Kayak Tour: Once on the water, your guide will point out interesting and historical Catalina Island landmarks, birds & plants and discuss the island’s ancient to modern history, geology and ecology as you glide over near-shore kelp forests above colorful fish. There’s always something WILD to see… a harbor seal may peek at you from the offshore rocks or a bald eagle may snag a fish from the water nearby.
What to know: Check-in is promptly 30 minutes before your tour departure. Allow a 15-minute grace period after the tour. At Frog Rock, you’ll land to stretch your legs, have a satisfying snack and a bottle of water and take a quick dip in the sea if you desire. Suitable for all ages, non-strenuous for beginners. Advanced gear available for experienced paddlers.
For your safety, you should be in good health & free from high blood pressure, heart, neck or back problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this tour. Participants must be able to balance the electric bike on their own. These activities are not wheelchair accessible. Minimum age to participate is 18 years of age (due to the restrictions of the electric bike). All participants must know how to ride a bike.
Dress comfortably for the time of year you are visiting. During the summer, wear your bathing suit under shorts and a shirt for kayaking. In winter they will provide water-resistant windbreakers and pants. Be aware that you can get wet on the kayak tour, so you might want to bring a dry change of clothes with you, just in case. Sunscreen, towel, a sweatshirt or light jacket, comfortable shoes or flip flops are recommended. You may wish to bring spending money as tour guide gratuity is not included in this package.

Where can I put my personal belongings while on tour?
Each location provides an area to store your belongings. It is always best to bring only necessities to your activity as storage space may be limited. Catalina Tours and its vendors are not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of personal property.
