Don't even think twice, just book it! February 2025

This tour is a must do when you're in Avalon. Halvy, the tour guide and driver, is a treasure to Catalina Island. You can tell he enjoys his job and knows everything about the island. The ride is a little bit bumpy and it does go up really high so if you have any motion or fear of heights issues, this might not be the best for you. The tour travels around the mountain range in Avalon and along the way you get to learn history and conservancy efforts on the island. Don't even think twice, just book it!

Absolutely must book January 2025

WOW! What a ride!!!Truly a highlight of such a stunning experience. I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. This NOT for the faint of heart, or people with motion sickness., or recent spinal surgery, or small kids, or house cats. Andrew is one of 7 drivers permitted to deliver the outstanding thrill ride. The hummer is well maintained with excellent shock absorption. The views were jaw dropping, the music so engaging. Absolutely must book. Guide gives EVERYONE a very thorough warning, and still you’re surprised when the tour kicks up to a 10.

Offroad fun May 2025

We did the Journey to Island's End recently and it was awesome. Going up and down the mountains was fun and you really learn a lot about the entire island. Cindy the tour guide was great. The ride is fairly bumpy in spots since you're offroad, but that's part of the fun if you're game.

More spectacular than advertised September 2025

It's a cliche, but the Journey to Island's End tour rates a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5! Andrew was an amazing guide -- clearly he had a lot of experience driving the Hummer up and down the mountains, knowing how close to get cliffside while making it exciting but still safe. Andrew's personality and humor added so much to the tour. The views were as spectacular as advertised; actually, maybe even more spectacular than advertised. An outstanding and memorable tour!
