For the undersea tour, guests must be able to transfer and have the ability to use stairs and ramps to enter & exit.
You should be be physically able to do a combination of sitting & standing throughout the food tour. During check out, enter any food allergies or aversions you may have.

Avalon Tasting & Walking Tour:
Expect to enjoy 6 tasting locations. Your tour cost includes all food & beverage tastings, including alcohol, along with server & bartender gratuities plus applicable taxes. This isn’t just a food tour – you will find a greater appreciation for the culture and history of Catalina Island and Avalon.
Are food allergies or aversions accommodated? Taste of Catalina Food Tours staff will reach out to you to confirm if anyone in your party has any food allergies or aversions.
Come face-to-face with Catalina’s abundant marine life by cruising five feet under water in a spacious, climate-controlled cabin. Every passenger has their own seat and port hole plus you’re free to roam about the cabin seeking other viewpoints.
What marine life will we see? Experience underwater sights from aboard the Sea Wolf Semi-Submersible on Catalina Island. You’ll see an incredible array of undersea dwellers: bright orange garibaldi, spotted calico bass, urchins, rock fish and bat rays, just to name a few.
What to bring and wear: Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat for shade, sunglasses and a tip for your guide (if you so choose) are recommended for both tours. Photo ID is required to check in for the Catalina Island Food Tour and if you plan to drink (minimum drinking age is 21 years old in CA). We dine rain or shine! Wear comfortable walking shoes & clothing. (When it rains we provide umbrellas.)
Restrictions: Please note all guests must be able to use ramps and stairs to enter and exit the Undersea Expedition. One tasting location does require stairs to dine in the restaurant, however the owners of the location are happy to bring the tasting to an outside seating area for your comfort. You should be be physically able to do a combination of sitting & standing throughout both tours. Guests with a tendency toward motion sickness or claustrophobia should not ride the Undersea Expedition. Minimum age to drink alcohol is 21 years of age. ID is required upon check in. Catalina Island weather may impact this excursion. Please contact us in the event of inclement weather.
