Explore Catalina Island at night in our biofuel Hummer. View the night lights of Avalon on this delightful evening drive. Breathtaking views with stops overlooking beautiful Avalon Bay. Your driver provides interesting Catalina Island highlights as your hummer winds its way through the heart of Avalon, down the coastline, and into the hills above this romantic and historic town.
At Wishbone Loop, you’ll experience the canopy of stars and a view over the San Pedro Channel to the mainland. This tour will last approximately 70 minutes. Departure times will vary seasonally as this adventure will begin 30 minutes after sunset. Blankets will be provided as necessary. 10% of the proceeds go to support the Catalina Island Conservancy.
What to bring and wear: This is an open-air tour that takes place after the sun has gone down. Layers are recommended, as temperatures can vary by 10-15 degrees from Avalon to the Summit. Make sure to wear or carry a warm sweater or sweatshirt. While food is not provided and is prohibited on tour, bottled water is welcome. Gratuity for your driver & guide is not included in the cost of the ticket. While gratuity is not expected, it is always appreciated.
Restrictions: For your safety, you should be in good health & free from high blood pressure, heart, neck or back problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this tour. Those with neck or back concerns/injuries are discouraged from taking this tour. The tour travels on steep, narrow, winding, bumpy, dusty, scenic mountain roads. These roads may be paved or dirt – please plan accordingly.
Yes. While reservations are not required, they are recommended. There are a limited number of seats available on this tour.
There are restrooms available in the Island Tour Plaza – please make sure to use them before you get on your tour, as there are no restrooms available once the tour begins.

Food & beverage are not provided on the Summit Night Adventure. You may bring bottled water with you on tour. Food is prohibited on the vehicle.
