Electric Bike Rental (Two Hour Rental):
What to know about your e-bike rental: Our knowledgeable staff will provide you with general information, a safety briefing, and local map, so you can plan out where you want to explore on your e-bike based on the duration of your rental. Electric Bikes may not operate in inclement Catalina Island weather for safety reasons. Electric Bikes must remain within the city limits of Avalon (see map upon check-in for area of operation).
Do we receive training for riding e-bikes? All guests must know how to ride a bike prior to check-in. Bike-riding instruction will not be provided as part of the rental. All guests must be able to hold up the bike on their own.
Jet Ski Rental (Priced for two to ride one ski):
What is in store for our jet ski excursion? Your wave runner trip starts at the green pier in beautiful Avalon Harbor, where you will be shuttled to Catalina Island’s famous Jet Ski Barge located two coves west of Avalon, roughly 200 feet offshore. From there you will be greeted by our hard-working barge crew members who will ensure your ride is fun, safe, and full of excitement! Enjoy an enormous open ocean riding area in which you are free to explore our Island’s beautiful coast!
Why is our excursion time for Jet Ski 2 hours? Your hour of riding starts when you take off on your craft. The total Jet Ski experience takes approximately 2 hours, plus a 30-minute check-in. Please do not be late to check-in. You will need that full time to complete paperwork, head to the Green Pier and hop on your shore boat out to the Jet Ski Barge (admission for the shore boat is included in your purchase). Once on the barge, you will get full safety training for your Jet Ski experience. Pricing is set for 1-2 guests on one jet ski. Options are available for more friends to join on the same ski. You may also book individual skis for each guest in your party for an additional fee.
What’s included in our jet ski rental? We will provide you with all the safety equipment and 10 square miles of beautiful ocean waters to ride on. You may even encounter sea lions or dolphins along your route. The hourly rate includes transportation to the Jet Ski Barge, life jackets and full instruction on how to operate a personal watercraft/waverunner.
How does Parasailing work? We can take up to 15 passengers at a time on all three Coast Guard inspected vessels. Our friendly, experienced crew will assist you throughout your trip. One at a time the crew will assist you in securing your life vest and harness. Once they have launched the chute you will be asked to walk to the back deck of the boat so they can clip you in. You will sail away without ever touching the water. After your hang time in the chute, you will be brought back down to the boat. Lift your legs and land on your feet from the same spot you took off from!
How long is the ride? Each flight is about 7 – 8 minutes of air time. Most trips are about an hour, depending on how many others are on the boat with you.
Can we fly together? Absolutely! In fact, we think it’s best to share in the spectacular views with someone by your side. We fly our guests either tandem or triple, as long as the combined weight of all passengers in the chute at once is no more than 450 lbs. Ocean and wind conditions can also affect minimum and maximum weight.
Will I get wet? You can get wet, or you can stay dry. Most people enjoy a quick dip of the feet, especially on a hot summer day, but if you prefer to stay dry, just notify the captain. Take off and landings are directly from the boat.
Can I take pictures? Absolutely! Definitely, bring your camera or you can purchase a Photo Package and our crew will take at least 50 pictures of your adventure on a 3 GB Card that you get to take home. Included on the card are 8 commemorative photos of Catalina from the air and the sea. (This is sold on site, not through our website.)
What to bring and wear: Please check the Catalina Island weather forecast and dress appropriately. Wear comfortable clothes, based on the season you are visiting. You may want to wear your suit/swim trunks if you are riding in the summer, especially if you choose to get dipped in the ocean. Small bags/purses can be accommodated, but please do not bring any large bags aboard. Larger bags can be left securely at the Cabrillo Mole. Spending money as tour guide gratuity is not included in this package.
Restrictions: For your safety, you should be in good health & free from high blood pressure, heart, neck or back problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this tour. This activity is generally not wheelchair accessible. Due to the nature of this Catalina Island activity, guests who are pregnant cannot participate. Catalina Island weather may impact this excursion. Please contact us in the event of inclement weather. Maximum weight to ride Electric Bikes is 285 per person. Maximum weight for Parasail Ride is 450 lbs. Minimum Weight for Parasail Ride is 150 lbs. Should any single guest be under 150 lbs., they can ride tandem to meet the weight minimum. Maximum weight for Jet Ski is 500 individual or tandem.

The Electric Bikes were "a great way to see Avalon". We toured with a “[v]ery professional parasailing organization”. "Amazing experience!! We ended up right in the middle of a large school of dolphins and had an amazing time "swimming" with them. So much fun!"
