Ocean Rafting 1/2 Day Trip - Catalina Express - Package #99

Package Description:
 Your package includes round trip cross channel transportation from Long Beach aboard Catalina Express. Once on the Island, you will join Catalina Ocean Rafting on its Half Day Excursion. This excursion is five different tours all wrapped up into one four hour adventure. We explore, on our power inflatables, about 30 miles of Catalina waters. About 15 miles are along the coastline and about 15 miles are offshore in search of dolphins. As we explore our pristine coastline we will stop to snorkel (gear provided), and if conditions are good, the Captain may let you swim one of our Islands sea caves. We may see Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, Herons, and Red Tailed Hawks along our coastal route. We will stop at Two Harbors and let you explore this rustic island village. During our return trip to Avalon we search for pods of our resident dolphins. If we find a pod they will come right up to the boat to check us out. You may even be able to touch one!! The excursion includes your mask, snorkel, fins, along with soft drinks, bottled water, cheese and crackers.
This package also includes a 10% discount coupon valid at selected Avalon restaurants, and a camera loaded with film to record your memories. One camera is included per reservation group.
Itinerary:
- 5:45 AM - Check in at Catalina Express, Downtown Long Beach Terminal
- 6:15 AM – Depart for Catalina Island
- 7:30 AM – Arrive Catalina Island
- 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM – Open time for breakfast in town
- 9:00 AM – Check in at Catalina Ocean Rafting
- 9:30 AM – Depart on Half Day Excursion
- 1:45 PM – Arrive back in Avalon from Half Day Excursion
- 1:45 PM – 3:15 PM – Open for shopping/activities/beach time
- 3:15 PM – Check in at Catalina Express
- 3:45 PM – Depart from Avalon to Long Beach aboard Catalina Express
- 5:00 PM – Arrive Long Beach
What to bring and wear:
Wear your bathing suit with a set of clothes over it; towel; sunscreen; soft soled shoes, sandals, or flip flops; sweatshirt or jacket, and spending money (gratuities for activity crews are not included in package).
