1 eaglefly 30002This trip is for snorkeling lovers.  We depart Avalon for the long point area, which is our first snorkel stop.  Along the way we pass an American Bald Eagle habitat. We will stop and enjoy these majestic birds in the wild. You will experience our islands beautiful coves and beaches along our route to long point.

 

At our first snorkel spot we will snorkel for about an hour. You will marvel at the areas kelp gardens 3 HR COVE 30002and undersea rock structures, along with many of the islands species of fish. After your snorkel, we serve crackers, cheese, soft drinks and bottled water.1 new ani 3000203

Video Mask – Rent a video mask when you book your trip for only $28.00. This is a regular 1 mask no bkg02snorkeling mask with a still and video camera built in.  As you are snorkeling you can take still or video pictures of the fish and scenery underwater. Also take some great pictures of your friends as they are snorkeling along with you. The camera works above the water also, so you can take video on the boat.  The rental is good for the length of the snorkeling trip and at the end of your trip we transfer your pictures to a DVD so you can take them home with you.  Be your own producer and director of your first underwater film starring you and your friends!

Underwater Camera – These cameras are available for purchase when you check in for your Catalina 1 camera no back02Ocean Rafting Adventure. These are waterproof, underwater and reloadable cameras.

We head offshore on our power rafts in search of our resident pods of dolphin. If we find a pod, they 2 4 half day 30004will come up to the boat for a closer look at us. Go ahead and put your hands in the water, a dolphin may let you touch them. We then head to seal rocks where you can enjoy a colony of Sea Lions.

 

It's time for our east end snorkel stop and another hour of snorkeling our crystal clear waters andSNORKEL 1 3000202 kelp forests. Hang on and enjoy power rafting at its best on our way back to Avalon.  This trip is recommended for persons with snorkeling experience.
